National LICA participated in CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 in Las Vegas, marking the seventh consecutive show where the association has maintained a presence at the largest construction trade show in North America.

Throughout the week, National LICA officers and staff manned the booth, meeting with contractors, industry partners, and potential new members. The booth served as a central point for conversations about the association’s programs, member benefits, and opportunities to get involved with LICA at the national and state levels.

CASE 580 EV ELECTRIC BACKHOE AT WORK

The construction industry’s first designed and commercially developed electric backhoe loaders — two CASE 580 EV backhoes from CASE Construction Equipment — have been delivered and are currently working with utilities in New York. New York State Gas & Electric (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas & Electric (RG&E), AVANGRID, Inc. subsidiaries will debut its first electric backhoe this week at a special event in New York, and National Grid took delivery of its first electric backhoe earlier this year.
