During this unusual time, gaining new members is challenging. Two State Chapters, New York and Arkansas LICA, reached out to National LICA CEO, Jerry Biuso, regarding this problem. After some thought, his solution was a mail campaign, using large format postcards.

Both states developed a mailing list from various sources. After having success with the first round of mailings, New York LICA, placed a second order designed specifically for landscapers. They were able to target a large group that is relatively untapped by LICA. After the success of Arkansas and New York, Pennsylvania LICA designed and ordered 500 postcards. They also had success and re-ordered an additional 1,000 copies. This targeted mail campaign was a great way to gain members without having to be face-to-face.
