LICA’s spring virtual committee meetings are off to a strong start.

The Convention Committee and On-Site Waste Committee recently kicked off the spring committee schedule with strong participation from contractors, Executive Directors, Associate members, and leadership from across the country. While the topics varied, both meetings reflected the same thing: great conversation, practical ideas, and members who care deeply about the future of the association and the industries LICA represents.

The Convention Committee focused heavily on future National meetings, contractor-driven education, exhibitor involvement, member experience, and ways to continue building conventions that keep contractors, families, and industry partners engaged year after year. The discussion brought a lot of good back-and-forth conversation, practical ideas, and genuine input from members across the country.

The On-Site Waste Committee meeting brought contractors together to discuss industry challenges, regulations, field experience, equipment, training, and issues impacting contractors on the job every day. More than anything, the meeting highlighted the value of contractors being able to openly exchange ideas and experiences with others who truly understand the work firsthand.

The virtual format has already opened the door for participation from members who may not always be able to travel, giving more contractors the opportunity to join discussions, share input, and stay connected to what is happening nationally.

And this is only the beginning.

Additional virtual committee meetings will continue throughout May and June, covering a wide range of topics important to LICA members and the land improvement industry. If the first two meetings are any indication, the virtual committees are already becoming another great way for members across the country to stay connected and involved with National LICA.
