National LICA is entering a new phase, one focused on building meaningful industry relationships and contractor-driven programs that deliver real value to members in the field.

Over the past four months, LICA has worked to strengthen relationships with national manufacturers and fleet providers that understand the day-to-day realities of LICA contractors. The goal is not simply to add more discounts, but to create programs that help contractors operate more efficiently, stay competitive, and gain access to programs that can directly support their businesses.

Two of the newest examples of that effort are LICA’s relationship with Caterpillar and the GM Fleet program.

Through Caterpillar’s Association Discount Program, LICA members now have access to savings opportunities on qualifying compact equipment and attachments, helping contractors reduce equipment costs while maximizing uptime and productivity. According to Athena Campos, Head of Global Marketing, BCP Caterpillar, the relationship is valuable because it gives Caterpillar a stronger connection to the contractors using the equipment every day. “At Caterpillar, our mission is to solve our customers' greatest challenges,” Campos said. “Working with LICA helps us learn how we can do that better.”

National LICA CEO Dennis Mikula, Jr. said the relationship reflects a broader shift in how LICA is approaching member resources. “Working with Caterpillar reflects a shared commitment to supporting the contractors who improve and protect our nation’s land and water resources,” Mikula said. “By working together, we’re able to provide LICA members with meaningful savings on compact equipment and attachments that help them operate more efficiently and stay competitive.”

LICA has also launched the GM Fleet program to provide members with access to Competitive Assistance Program pricing on qualifying Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, and Buick vehicles commonly used in contractor fleets. The program is designed around the real operational needs of contractors from pickups and service trucks to fleet vehicles used every day on jobsites.

For longtime members like National LICA Region I Vice President Ron Garofalo, programs like these represent an important step forward for the association. “I see these programs as more than savings, they’re tools that help contractors reinvest back into their businesses,” Garofalo said. “Equipment and fleet costs continue to rise, and programs like these give members access to opportunities that can make a real difference in day-to-day operations.”

These programs are part of a larger shift happening within National LICA, one focused on bringing more industry access, stronger relationships, and practical business resources directly to contractors. It’s all part of LICA’s continued commitment to serving as a true Contractor Concierge for the industry connecting members with tools, programs, relationships, and opportunities that help them succeed both in the field and in business.
